Questions and answers

The questions a new customer asks first, answered plainly. Gondero is in development; answers describe what it is designed to do.

Getting started

What does Gondero do?

It lets a sales team send B2B email sequences from its own mailbox and checks each email against the recipient country’s rules before it leaves. Replies come back to one inbox.

Does it send from my own mailbox?

Yes. Email leaves from the mailbox you connect, on your own domain. There is no shared sending domain, so your sending reputation stays yours.

How do I connect my Gmail, Microsoft 365 or Hostinger mailbox?

You enter the mailbox in the panel and Gondero tests the connection and your domain’s records. Gmail, Microsoft 365 and generic SMTP/IMAP, which covers hosting mailboxes such as Hostinger’s, are being built. The final list of channels is announced before launch.

How setup works

How do I get a Gmail app password?

Some Google accounts need two-step verification turned on first, and an administrator may switch app passwords off for a work account. Follow Google’s own help page; step-by-step guidance for Gondero will be added when the connection is ready.

How long does setup take?

We do not publish a setup time yet. DNS changes can take a while to spread, and a new mailbox rises step by step over about three to four weeks before it sends at full pace.

Sending

How many emails can I send a day?

Per mailbox, Gondero is designed to start at about 5 a day (up to 10 for an established mailbox) and rise over three to four weeks. The default cap is 30 a day per mailbox, with a platform ceiling of 50. Your mailbox provider’s own limit also applies. Figures may change before launch.

Why does sending start slowly?

Mailbox providers watch new senders closely, and a sudden jump in volume looks like abuse. A slow start protects your domain’s reputation.

Why sending starts small

Will my emails avoid the spam folder?

No tool can promise that. Gondero helps with what you control: your own domain and mailbox, correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, slow volume, one-click unsubscribe, and an automatic pause when bounces or complaints rise.

Does Gondero track opens?

Open tracking is off by default. No tracking pixel is added unless you turn it on.

Where do replies go?

Replies come back to the mailbox they were sent from and appear in one inbox in the panel. Automatic replies, such as out-of-office messages, are shown separately.

Leads and contacts

Where do my contacts come from?

You bring them as a CSV file. Connecting a data provider such as Hunter or Apollo with your own account is planned; which providers are offered is not decided. Gondero does not sell contact data.

Does Gondero collect contacts from LinkedIn or Google Maps?

No. Gondero does not scrape either of them.

Is there LinkedIn in a sequence?

As a manual task only. A step can remind you to send a LinkedIn message yourself, and you can import contacts you collected yourself as a CSV file. Gondero does not automate LinkedIn.

What if I am not sure I may email a list?

You state the basis for each list when you import it. If you are not sure, the list can be imported, and nothing is sent until you settle the basis.

Price and account

How much does it cost?

There are three plans: Starter, Growth and Agency. Starter and Growth have a monthly price; Agency is by quote. The pricing page lists prices and what you buy.

Pricing

Can I try it first?

Not at the moment. If one opens, it will be announced on the pricing page with its limits.

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?

You cancel in the panel at any time; it takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refund rules are in the cancellation and refund terms.
